TULSA, Oklahoma -- The severe weather is gone, but northeast Oklahoma will still be dealing with high winds on Friday, April 15, 2011.

"A few showers are possible later this afternoon along with very strong west to northwest winds of 20 to 40 mph," News On 6 Meteorologist Alan Crone wrote in his weather blog.

Crone says the chance of showers in Tulsa is about 30 percent.

He says the cool and blustery conditions will give way to beautiful weather for the weekend.  "The weekend looks very nice with mostly sunny and mild conditions. Saturday's highs will be in the upper 60s after morning lows in the 30s with Sunday afternoon temps moving into the upper 70s," he wrote.

But don't get used to it.  He says the weather pattern will become active again next week.
