Strong Winds Knock Down Power Poles In Coweta

The storm knocked down a number of utility poles along state Highway 51 near Coweta on April 14, 2011.

COWETA, Oklahoma -- Most of eastern Oklahoma experienced severe weather Thursday afternoon and evening.  

The storm blew down more than a dozen utility poles along state Highway 51 in Coweta in Wagoner County.

PSO says because of that, about 100 customers were still without power Friday morning.

PSO expected to have service restored sometime Friday morning.

There were no injuries reported in the Coweta area.
