Downtown Street Honors Officer Who Died Of Cancer

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A downtown Tulsa street was dedicated Saturday to the memory of Jennifer Mansell, a Tulsa police officer who lost her battle with cancer in January.

Archer Street now shares the name Jennifer Mansell Boulevard. The sign was dedicated near the homeless shelter.

Mansell was a strong advocate for the homeless during her time on downtown patrol in the Tulsa police force.

Jennifer was with the department for more than 25 years and displayed a rare combination of tough on the streets and gentle on the people.
