Broken Arrow Students Plant Trees As Part Of Arbor Day Celebration

Students from Indian Springs Elementary helped city leaders plant five Oklahoma Red Bud trees across the street from the school.

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- Broken Arrow is celebrating spring by planting trees for Arbor Day.

Students from Indian Springs Elementary helped city leaders plant five Oklahoma Red Bud trees across the street from the school.

This was more than just time out of class. A horticulturist taught students the importance of planting trees.

Broken Arrow has been a Tree City, USA for eleven years now.
