TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oklahomans took a moment Friday to celebrate some of the nation's premiere wildlife artists.
Tulsa's annual Natureworks Art Show and Auction is one of the two largest shows of its kind in the country. The artists behind the remarkable works say Tulsa is one of their favorite stops.
"It's always a pleasure to come back here to NatureWorks because it is such a top-ranked show," Diane Mason, Society of Animal Artists President, said. "They treat us like royalty. They take very good care of their artists. The people we talk to as they go through the show couldn't be nicer. And the artists are like family."
More than 60 nationally-renowned artists and sculptors have their work on display all weekend at the Renaissance Hotel at 71st Street and Highway 169 in Tulsa.
