Tulsa Driver Arrested For Suspicion Of DUI Following Hit And Run Crash

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A driver told police a red Ford Mustang hit the rear right side of his car and then left the scene in the 3500 block of East 71st Street early Wednesday morning.

Tulsa Police got the call shortly after 1:30 a.m. and put out an alert for the Mustang.  A short time later another officer spotted it near 71st and Trenton and attempted to pull it over.

The officer says the driver, 22-year-old Steffan Bougher, turned into a neighborhood and struck a curb, flattening both right side tires.

Bougher was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail on complaints of suspicion of DUI, hit and run and driving with a suspended license.

The driver of the other car was not injured in the crash.
