BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office seized a 10-pound meth lab after deputies searched the garage of a home in a rural part of the county this week.
The raid followed the arrest of 49-year-old Gordon Brown by Bartlesville Police on Tuesday.
Police received a tip about Brown and after a short pursuit by police officers Brown was arrested. During that pursuit, police say Brown threw several items including cash, meth and marijuana into the Caney River, which officers recovered.
The sheriff's office say searched Brown's home in rural Washington County and found the methamphetamine material in a five-gallon jug.
Washington County Undersheriff Steve Johnson says the crew that cleaned up the lab says the jug of meth material was largest one they had ever seen the county.
