TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man runs into a burning RV early Friday morning to rescue his landlord.
Tulsa Police says several teenagers were near 37th and Nogales when they noticed the fire around 1 a.m.
They went to the neighbor's house to get help. That neighbor, Shawn Wright immediately ran to the burning RV in an attempt to save a man who was inside.
"I went to open up the door and go in after him, and he was at the front door so I was able to pull him out," said Shawn Wright.
Wright says he's been renting from the man inside the RV for the last 15 years.
The man was taken to a Tulsa hospital with burns and suffering from smoke inhalation. Wright was not injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
