LEONARD, Oklahoma -- Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies located a pickup truck belonging to the victim in Monday's deadly shooting.
The Chevy pickup truck was found on the east side of Lake Bixoma near Leonard around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The truck was found only one mile from the victim's home.
Deputies say a man took off in the truck after shooting and killing another man and injuring a woman Monday night.
The shooting took place Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the 14800 block of East 171st Street, between Bixby and Leonard.
Sheriff's deputies said Ed Brown, 59, and a woman were in the backyard when a man came out of the woods and opened fire.
Brown died in the shooting, the woman was critically wounded.
The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says one of the victims was specifically targeted, saying it was not a random act.
Deputies located the truck by air while searching for the suspect and a car he may have abandoned in the area before the shooting.
