COLLINSVILLE, Oklahoma -- The city of Collinsville cut the ribbon on a new jail Friday.
The community hasn't had a jail since December, 2001, when the old one was destroyed by fire at the city hall.
The new jail was paid for with bond money and has 14-beds.
Collinsville's police chief says the new jail will save his officers time because they'll no longer have to take prisoners to Owasso.
