TULSA, Oklahoma -- What's painted pink and blue, has lots of wheels, a zip-line, a trampoline and a balance beam?
It's the Tumblebus!
It was Tumblebus Tuesday at John Knox Development Center and the kids enjoyed their weekly visit to the old school bus turned pre-school gymnastics room on wheels.
Alicia Deer, a teacher at John Knox child Development Center, says the Tumblebus helps kids develop muscles and improve motor skills.
But the kids were too busy having fun to know it was really good for them.
There's a small trampoline for jumping, a balance beam, monkey bars, and a zip-line on the bus.
Kent Tucker bought the Tumblebus ten years ago and has been busy 6 days a week ever since.
"It's a great feeling when you go into a classroom and the kids are hollering Tumblebus, Tumblebus," Tucker said.
At John Knox, Tumblebus is an extracurricular option for parents for kids' age 2 to 5. There's an extra fee and the bus comes once a week.
Each small group gets about 30 minutes of bus time then they get their shoes back on, get a stamp on their hand and off they go back to the classroom.
"They're just excited and fun, there's never a bad day," Tucker said.
