STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- A Stillwater man charged in a crash that killed 3 members of a Sand Springs family in late 2009 is facing new drug charges in Payne County.
Steven Jameson, 20, is charged with three counts of first degree manslaughter, drug possession and driving without a license stemming from a December 24, 2009 fatality accident on state Highway 51.
Court records state Stillwater Police searched his Stillwater home in November.
During that search, officers found marijuana, beer and niacin pills. According to a court affidavit, the pills are used to try to mask the presence of drugs in person's system.
Police then arrested him in December on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jameson is set to appear in a Payne County courtroom on February 3, 2011.
Jameson has a court hearing on the manslaughter charges in Tulsa County on January 28, 2011.
