Sallisaw Police Search For Missing Man

Police said Michael Lee Edwards suffers from a medical condition which can cause him to become disoriented and confused.

SALLISAW, Oklahoma – Sallisaw Police are looking for a man who was reported missing over the weekend.

Police said Michael Lee Edwards was last seen Sunday, January 2, 2011 about 5 p.m. He was wearing blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes and a jacket.

Police said Edwards suffers from a medical condition which can cause him to become disoriented and confused. He requires medication, but did not have any on him when he disappeared.

Edwards is described as a white male, 40 years old, 6'2," and weighing 210 pounds.
