TULSA, Oklahoma -- A strong cold front is approaching NE Oklahoma from the west. Ahead of the front, News On 6 WARN team says to expect thunderstorms early Friday morning over eastern Oklahoma and into western Arkansas.
Thursday, northeast Oklahoma will see temperatures near 70 or higher.
WARN team meteorologist Alan Crone says thunderstorms could form between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. Friday near or northeast of Tulsa.
Crone says Friday morning will start out with mild temperatures but at the front passes, temperatures will start dropping into the 30's by afternoon.
