TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police started Christmas Eve working a few traffic accidents including one that was caused by a new couch that had fallen into the middle of the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Three Tulsa drivers lost control on the Broken Arrow Expressway at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday after hitting a box in the middle of the roadway near the Memorial Drive Bridge. Police say inside the box was a new couch that hadn't yet been assembled.

The drivers crashed into a nearby wall. A woman was taken to the hospital; the other two drivers were not injured.

Officers said driving too fast for road conditions led to a rollover accident near 81st and Riverside at about 3 a.m.

The driver was going too fast, and the wet roads caused him to lose control, according to Tulsa Police. The driver was able to walk away unharmed.
