TULSA, Oklahoma – The National Weather Service in Tulsa issued a Dense Fog Advisory for much of northeastern Oklahoma Tuesday morning.

It was extended through noon for Cherokee, Adair, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner, Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Delaware, McIntosh and Muskogee counties.

The News On 6 Warn team said the fog could reduce visibilities to under one mile in some places.  Drivers are encouraged to slow down and leave plenty of room between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.

The fog is expected to decrease by mid-morning.  Afternoon temperatures are expected to climb into the 50's.
