TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oral Roberts University will once again benefit from the generosity of an Oklahoma family. The school will receive $10 million from the owners of Hobby Lobby and Mardel Christian Book Store to be used for campus renovations and maintenance projects.
The most recent gift adds to the $30 million the Green family has given the school over the past three years.

"On behalf of the students, faculty and staff at ORU, I want to express my deep gratitude to the Green family for their incredible generosity," said ORU President Mark Rutland.
"Their gift, again, will substantially improve our campus—a campus where we are transforming the lives of students who will continue to impact nations around the world."
"At the one-year anniversary of the passing of Chancellor Oral Roberts, our family is honored to invest in his greatest legacy - ORU," said ORU Board Chair Mart Green.
"I know this university that bears Chancellor Roberts' name will continue the vision of excellence in producing whole-person graduates."

The school plans to spent almost $4 million on information technology efforts including virtual computing desktops, a new voice phone system and updated digital television equipment, according to a news release.
