TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police are investigating the murder of a woman who was found dead inside her southwest Tulsa home. A family member says Paula Bogle was sitting in her rocking chair where she was killed.
"When I walked to the rocker, I saw blood on her neck. At that point, I just kind of panicked," said Bogle's niece Glenna.
Paula Bogle "suffered trauma to her neck, possibly stab wounds," according to Tulsa Police.
A 70-year-old man renting a room from Bogle found her body. Officers were called to the 5800 block of 32nd West Avenue around 1 a.m. Police initially said Bogle was 65, however, a family member informed News On 6 that Bogle was 67.
Glenna said the house had been ransacked, drawers pulled out, jewelry strung around and her Aunt Paula's car was missing.
She drove a black 2006 Chevy HHR with Oklahoma tags 684-BNH. Detectives believe that stolen vehicle is key to this case and if anyone sees it, they should call 9-1-1.
"If you see that vehicle, we don't want a Crime Stoppers call, we want to respond immediately," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Mike Huff.
Bogle's niece said she was a giving, caring person who loved to talk and was always funny. She was devoted to her son and four granddaughters and didn't have an enemy in the world.
"We just can't even imagine, no idea. Doesn't have any enemies I would know of, ever, ever," Glenna said.
The four granddaughters were such a part of Paula's life, other family called the girls the Bogle bunch. That family is now in shock and their only Christmas wish is that her killer is caught as soon as possible.
