TULSA, Oklahoma -- One of Oklahoma's own helps a Roger's County family after a grinch stole their Christmas gifts.
Christine Day, a single mother, was storing presents she's been buying since summer in the trunk of her car so her three kids wouldn't find them. But a thief broke into her car and stole everything.

After a News On 6 story aired Monday, the owner of Tulsa Gold and Gems wrote her a check for $750.
"I hope there's a surprise at the end of this bad story, that maybe she doesn't even tell her kids until Christmas day and there's all these presents," Spencer Fisher, Tulsa Gold and Gems, said.
A viewer also brought a $50 dollar gift card to the News On 6 for Christine.
When News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright told Christine about the gifts, she was shocked and appreciative. When she learned several other viewers had also offered to donate, she was thankful, but asked them to instead use that money for other families who might be in need.
