WILBURTON, Oklahoma -- A two-year-old Wilburton girl is in a Tulsa hospital in stable condition after she suffered burns in a house fire in Latimer County.
The fire was called into Friday evening shortly before 11 p.m.
When firefighters from Wilburton and Ashcreek arrived on the scene, smoke was pouring from the door and windows of the home.
The girl was one of three children in the home at the time of the fire.
She and her two siblings were rescued by their mother by the time firefighters arrived.
The girl suffered burns to both legs and was flown by medical helicopter to a burn center at a Tulsa hospital.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
