TULSA, Oklahoma – A man arrested in a deadly Tulsa shooting earlier this month was charged with murder Wednesday.
Joseph Nevels, 41, was charged with first degree murder, second degree burglary, malicious injury to property and leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
Police said Nevels shot and killed Mark Miller, 53, outside the Kendalwood Townhomes near 46th and Granite on November 1, 2010.

Police said they believe it started when Nevels crashed his truck into a brick wall in the early morning hours and fled the scene. Neighbors say Miller came outside to check the damage and take pictures of the damage.
Police said Nevels returned a few hours later and broke into one of the townhouses. They believe he was after the pictures, but broke into the place next door.
Officers said Miller heard his neighbor's alarm going off and was shot and killed when he confronted Nevels in a nearby parking lot.
Nevels is being held in the Tulsa jail on a $1 million bond.
