MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma -- A Cartwright man was sentenced Tuesday to more than 4 years in prison for a gift card scheme committed over a 3 month period last year.

Scott Allen Sisk, 34, was sentenced in federal court for access device fraud.

Authorities say Sisk would take gift cards, erase the numbers from the card and replace them with Visa numbers. Investigators say he got the Visa numbers from a computer program.

Sisk was arrested attempting to use one of the fraudulent cards and his car was searched. Officers found two jump drives that contained just under 2000 credit card numbers.

The Durant Police assisted the U.S. Secret Service in their investigation.
