TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police were kept busy overnight Saturday with several incidents including a carjacking, shooting and stabbing.
A woman was wounded after she brought a gun to a fight in the 5900 block of East King at about 3 a.m. Witnesses told police the woman's boyfriend got into a fight in the street, and she went to get a gun. That sent the boyfriend's opponents on the run, and the boyfriend tried to grab the gun and shoot them as they left.
Friends kept the man from firing the weapon, but in the scuffle for the gun the woman was shot in the thigh. Police at the scene said they weren't sure what had really occurred, but that's what they were told by witnesses.
Carjacking
A man was leaving the End Up Club in the 5300 block of East Admiral at about 1:30 a.m. when he was jumped by two men armed with a rifle or shotgun. One man hit him, and the pair took his silver Chrysler Aspen SUV.
Stabbing
At about 1:30 a.m. at an apartment complex near Admiral and Mingo, a man was stabbed. He sought help at a house in the 9800 block of East 7th Street and was transported to a local hospital. Police had little to go on in the crime.
