Schools, Churches Train For 'Active Shooter'

UNDATED -- Making Green Country schools, businesses and churches safer, that was the goal of Wednesday's seminar at Grace Church.

Swat team members from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office talked about preparing for an "active shooter incident". It's basically a gunman with a large pool of potential victims like Columbine or the Virginia Tech shootings.

"This type of criminal knows no bounds. They are truly indiscriminate," said Vic Meyer,Grace Church Security Director.

The seminar gave security professionals a chance to ask questions from experts with real-world experience.
