TULSA, Oklahoma -- A freeze warning is in effect for several counties across eastern Oklahoma Thursday night into Friday morning.
Adair, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner, Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Craig, Muskogee, and Nowata Counties are among those included in a freeze warning until 10 a.m. Friday morning.
Temperatures could dip into the upper 20's across northern Oklahoma, with low 20's in parts of Northwest Arkansas, according to News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer.
Despite a chilly start, temperatures are expected to warm up in the Tulsa area by Friday afternon, with a high around 70.
Parts of western Oklahoma are under a frost advisory until 10 a.m. Friday. Temperatures in that area are expected to drop into the mid-30's.
