TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa had a few extra firefighters from Germany Tuesday.
More than 30 youth firefighters from Tulsa's sister city in Celle, Germany are in town to see the sights, work on physical fitness and compete in combat challenges.
"We're going to do some search and rescue with the Youth Firefighters. We're going to let them try to find some stuffed animals and just get them in gear and let them have some fun." Said Tulsa Assistant Fire Marshal Debra Bailey.
In Germany, students can start training to be a fire fighter in middle school--and graduate to a full volunteer firefighter at 16.
Tulsa has been participating in exchanges with Celle, Germany for 10 years.
