MADILL, Oklahoma -- Two Oklahoma women are dead, and one in critical condition, after a collision on Highway 70 four miles west of Madill.
It happened just before 11 Saturday morning.
Troopers say a driver of a Ford F-250 failed to yield when making a left hand turn into a private drive.
Three women, traveling in a Nissan Cube in the opposite direction, collided with the Truck as it was making the turn, according to troopers.
A passenger of the Nissan, 33-year-old Amy Latham, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second passenger, 52-year-old Billie Thrasher, was airlifted to a local Hospital where she later died. The driver was taken to a Texas hospital in serious condition.
All three passengers of the Nissan are from Calera, Oklahoma. According to a Facebook post, they were heading to Oklahoma City for a concert.
The driver of the Ford pickup suffered only minor injuries.
Troopers say seatbelts were used in both vehicles.
