Eat 'Pancakes For Pooches' Saturday At South Tulsa Fire Station

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Meet some hometown heroes and enjoy a pancake breakfast – all for a good cause. The firefighters at Tulsa's Station No. 32, 6010 E. 91st, are hosting "Pancakes For Pooches" to benefit Biscuit Acres Dog Park at Hunter Park.

The pancakes are free – but donations are appreciated.

The event is scheduled for 8 to 11 a.m. There will be fire department ladder rides, fire and safety demonstrations, a raffle and prize drawings, and dog trick demos.

JoJo the Fire Department clown will also be on hand to add to the fun.

Park at the Fellowship Bible Church, 5434 E. 91st Street, and ride the T-Town Trolley to the fire station.

All donations will benefit Biscuit Acres Dog Park at Hunter Park, . The park had to be closed in June in order to reseed the grass.

The Parks Department says Biscuit Acres became a victim of its own success. Hundreds of dogs continually running in circles eventually killed most of the grass

Help to pay for repairs to the popular South Tulsa dog park by attending the pancake breakfast Saturday morning.
