PARK HILL, OK---This Thursday and Friday the Cherokee Heritage Center has been host to hundreds of school children during its Ancient Cherokee Days.
Students enjoyed activities such as shooting hand-made blowguns, corn grinding, stick ball and received a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Cherokee.
We celebrate our ancient village, time frame 1710,' said Education Director Tonia Weavel, ‘and we invite schools to come and participate, and today we've had about 500 children come to experience Cherokee culture.'
