TULSA, Oklahoma -- A broken water line is leaving several Tulsa businesses without water and affecting traffic on South Harvard Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Water is shut off to seven businesses as crews repair a break in a 24-inch water line at 2200 S. Harvard Avenue, according to the City of Tulsa.
Pavement in the northbound lanes buckled as city crews worked to repair the line. Traffic has been moved to the southbound lanes with one lane open in each direction.
Seven businesses between the 2200 and 2400 block of South Harvard Avenue are without water until Friday afternoon.
The street repair will take about a week, according to the city new release.
