TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Police officers recovered three stolen vehicles late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning and arrested two suspects.
At 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, an officer spotted a suspicious car and followed it. Police say the car ended up in a grass lot near First and Peoria after the driver missed a turn.
The driver got out and ran off.
A short time later, a second suspicious car was spotted and stopped at Independence and Madison.
Just as in the first incident, the driver of the car got out and ran away.
The Tulsa Police helicopter was called in to locate both drivers, who were found and arrested.
Then, just before 3 a.m. Wednesday, a police officer spotted a car with a broken rear tail light on Pine just west of Sheridan.
When the officer turned around to stop the car, the driver took off.
The pursuit ended at Easton and Maplewood.
Two juveniles jumped out and ran away. A search of the car turned up three car stereos, two radar detectors and bag of tools police believe were used in those burglaries.
Police are still looking for the juveniles.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
