TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Local-retailer Kohl's wants to combat childhood obesity. The department store kicked off the fight with a splash at Camp Loughridge.
Kohl's donated more than $80,000 to ShapeDown, a St. Francis Hospital program that teaches families to keep moving and make healthy choices.
"It's a childhood, pediatric weight management program and because of their donation we are able to continue on with the program and have fun events like this for the kids," said Lauren Bradely of St. Francis Hospital.
More than 500 ShapeDown graduates gathered for a reunion and a little pool time.
The kids could shoot hoops with Marcus Lewis from the Tulsa 66ers or meet two-time Olympic weightlifter Shane Hamman.
