Tulsa Man Ordered To Serve 25 Years In Prison For Raping 10-Year-Old Girl

TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A Tulsa County judge has gone along with a jury, which recommended a Tulsa man convicted of raping a 10-year-old girl 23 years ago get a 25-year prison sentence.

Last month, a district court jury found Sylvester Latham guilty.

The victim, who is now 33, said after the verdict she felt relief and was grateful that Latham would have to pay for what he did.

Latham was finally located last year and was arrested in Kansas and brought back to Tulsa to stand trial.
