BARTLESVILLE, OKLAHOMA -- The Lonesome Heroes are coming to Bartlesville. The Austin, Texas-based duo will play the First Friday Concert in Copper Bar on September 3rd.
Copper Bar is located on the 15th floor of Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized skyscraper, the Price Tower.
Songwriters Rich Russell and Landry McMeans founded Lonesome Heroes in 2005. Their music is a culmination of their New York and Texas roots that blends Indie, Rock, Folk and Country for a unique sound.
"We are very pleased that the Lonesome Heroes will be playing in Bartlesville," said Tim Boruff, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center. "The response to our free concerts on the first Friday of each month has been very positive. We hope the community will continue to support the fresh talent we are bringing in for their enjoyment."
The Lonesome Heroes released their first music video in 2009. They are now working on their first full-length record.
The First Friday Concert begins at 8 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. Free appetizers, drink specials and great views from the 15th floor of the Price Tower will be available.
