TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A Tulsa attorney accused of embezzling money from clients has filed a malicious prosecution claim against the state attorney general's office.

Attorney Fred Schraeder faces charges of embezzlement, fraud and forgery.

His preliminary hearing in Tulsa County District was held on Monday, August 23, 2010.  

In his claim Schraeder says two witnesses testified during the preliminary hearing that they never met him or spoke to him.  He says despite that the state continues to pursue its claim of embezzlement.

Schraeder claims the state of Oklahoma is intentionally inflicting emotional distress by extreme and outrageous conduct and that there is official misconduct by government officials/employees.

The next court hearing in the case is set for September 2, 2010.
