TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- The first-degree murder trial of former Tulsa teacher John Kastner has been reset for September 13.

This time, the trial will take place before Judge Tom Gillert in Tulsa County District Court.

On Monday, August 16, 2010, jury selection was to begin in Kastner's trial, but was delayed due to the illness of a defense attorney.

With that delay and Judge Clancy Smith's scheduled departure to the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, Judge Tom Gillert agreed to take over as presiding judge.
