TULSA, OK -- Tulsa police are investigating what they're calling a rolling gun battle down Highway 169 Wednesday afternoon.

Gunfire was exchanged among the occupants of two cars, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

It happened at about 2:30 p.m.

Tulsa Police reports an officer saw a car speeding and attempted to pull it over. That's when a call came out that shots had been fired between two cars. The speeding car matched the description of the vehicle suspected of shooting out the windows of a blue Suburban, according to police. That's when officers say a short pursuit ensued.

The car stopped in the 2200 block of North Mingo Road. Police say there were four gang members inside the car, each with outstanding warrants.

No weapon was found inside the car. Officers say they believe it was discarded during the pursuit. U.S. Marshals are searching for a gun along Mingo Road and 36th Street North.

The four people inside the car were arrested on their outstanding warrants.

The other car involved in the incident has not been located.

Anyone with information that could help is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
