TULSA, OK -- Hundreds of Tulsa-area kids will be starting the new school year in style.
They're getting free haircuts from students at Clary Sage College and Oklahoma Technical College. This is the second year these colleges are offering shampoo, cuts, and styles for school-age children.
Last year, more than 200 kids received free haircuts and organizers expect to give even more this year.
"This is one way we can not only give our students additional help and training with a multitude of haircuts, but it's an opportunity for us to also give something back to the community," said Lisa Stierwalt, Campus Director.
The student stylists will be back at work Tuesday evening from 6:45 to 9:00, then again on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.. to 9 p.m.
