TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Police Department is searching for four persons of interest wanted for questioning in connection to the shooting death of  Markeeto Matthews, 35, of Tulsa.

"He didn't just die alone, they took a piece of everybody," Katie Matthews, Markeeto Matthews' mother, said.

Matthews' family wants to bring his killer to justice.

"He was a good man with ambitions, dreams; he had a family, a son. Most of all, he had a loving mother," she said. "There's no way anyone was out to kill him because it's just not in his nature. He's a peace maker."

Police are searching for 22-year-old Demarco Johnson, aka "Loco, Marco;" Roderick Stephenson, 20, aka "PeeWee;" and Sir Ray Gilliam, 19, aka "Sir."

Police say the fourth suspect has a street name of Texas. There is no other information on this suspect.

"I'm hurt," Matthews' sister, Candace Lewis Matthews, said. "I'm very angry."

Matthews' sister had just reconnected with her brother. They were working on their relationship.

"They just don't know what they did, what they took from me and how this has an impact on my life," she said. "I'm not going to ever to get over this, ever."

As the family prepares to bury Matthews, they focus on what they have left -- memories.

"Him licking my face and calling me stinka," Katie Matthews said. "He would call me and say 'stinka, whatcha doing? Mom, I love you.'"

Tulsa Police are also seeking any additional information that would lead to the apprehension of the person(s) responsible for this crime. If you know anything, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
