Athletes Bring Home Medals From Special Olympics 2010 National Games

TULSA, OK -- Some special athletes arrived back in Tulsa Saturday to a hero's welcome.

They just got back from the Special Olympics 2010 National Games in Nebraska. 

They're excited to be home and, of course, show off their medals. The News On 6 spoke with one woman who brought back a first place, second place and two third place medals in power lifting.

"I lifted a little bit more weight than I ever have," said Samantha Cooper, Special Olympic Medalist.

This was Samantha's second year to compete in the National Games.
