OKLAHOMA CITY -- A commercial for a local roofing company is getting national attention.

A woman answering the phones at Terrell's Siding and Roofing in Oklahoma City said the business has been flooded with phone calls after the commercial was played during a show on MSNBC Wednesday night.

"We've received good calls and bad calls," said the employee at Terrell's Siding and Roofing.

The host of the Rachel Maddow Show, a self-proclaimed liberal, poked fun of David Terrell's ad during a segment of the show.

In the commercial, Terrell says, "Yes, I'm an Oklahoma conservative Christian businessman who stands for liberty and freedom." He continues to say, "So, let's end this secular socialism right now."

Coming out of the commercial, Maddow is laughing on-camera and said "end this secular socialism right now? And aluminum siding. Get your aluminum siding right here."

She goes to joke "You know, termites are notorious for their big government. Big wooden government."

Calls to David Terrell for comment have not been returned at this time.
