TULSA, OK -- The News On 6 ran into problems Sunday evening while preparing for storms in the Tulsa area.

As a precaution, The News On 6 goes to backup generators when the weather turns ugly, but the backup system lost power. 

Viewers might have noticed channel 6 was off air for a short time. Engineers rushed in and got things working again.

The News On 6 will air newscasts at 9:00 p.m. on Tulsa CW and at 10:00 p.m. on channel 6.
