PAWNEE COUNTY -- Friday marked 25 years since a deadly explosion at an Oklahoma fireworks plant.

Twenty-one people were killed in the blast that leveled the Aerlex Fireworks Factory near Jennings. It's one of the state's worst industrial accidents.

The series of explosions rocked Pawnee County. Some say it could be heard all the way in Tulsa.

It's believed friction ignited the explosions inside the plant where workers were hurrying to fill 4th of July orders.

Eleven of the victims were laid to rest in a Terlton cemetery.
