16-Year-Old Reportedly Shoots Father Outside Tulsa Business

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a Tulsa business involving a teenager and his father.

Firefighters and EMSA were dispatched to 1600 block of North Lewis shortly before 11 a.m.

Police told The News On 6 that a man confronted his 16-year-old son in the Ace Cash Express parking lot over a car which the father says was stolen from the boy's grandmother. 

Police say the 16-year-old shot his father in the hand then ran away. 

EMSA took the father to a hospital and says his wound is not life-threatening.

Police are still looking for the teen.
