Thunderstorms Move Through Northeast Oklahoma

UNDATED -- Severe thunderstorm cells moved through northeast Oklahoma and southern Kansas Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly before 4 p.m., the slow-moving system was moving through Cherokee, Delaware,  Mayes and Wagoner Counties. Micro bursts, lightning and high winds were being reported.

The thunderstorms will continue to push east through the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening. The severe weather threat will remain through the evening with hail to the size of quarters and wind gusts to 65 miles-per-hour possible. Heavy rain and possible flash flooding are also possible.
