TULSA, OK -- A juvenile playing with a lighter is blamed for a Wednesday morning apartment fire, according to Tulsa Fire Department spokesman Bill French.
Tulsa firefighters contained the fire to one upstairs apartment at The Meadows in east Tulsa Wednesday morning. Firefighters estimate the damage at $30,000.
Tulsa Fire was dispatched to the apartment complex near 28th and Garnett shortly after 9 a.m.
Firefighters reported flames coming from a bedroom of the apartment when they arrived.
Tulsa Fire says no one was injured.
