Preliminary Hearing Set For Former Tulsa School Assistant Principal

TULSA, OK -- A former Tulsa elementary school assistant principal was in a Tulsa County District courtroom Wednesday morning for his district court arraignment.

Robert Yerton, Jr. is charged with two counts of lewd molestation and two counts of child sexual abuse.

During his appearance Wednesday morning, a judge entered a 'not guilty' plea for Yerton on all four charges.

Yerton bonded out of the Tulsa County jail on Tuesday evening.

The court set a preliminary hearing date of July 19.

Tulsa Public Schools suspended Robert Yerton late last month.
