Man Arrested In BA Angel Case Charged

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The man arrested in the Broken Arrow Angel case faces a dozen new charges.

Investigators say Douglas Polk, Jr. abducted a five-year-old girl from her front yard in Broken Arrow in 2007, sexually assaulted her, then dumped the girl - naked and bleeding - on a country road.

Polk now faces 12 charges:

• 4 counts of child sexual abuse
• 1 count of rape by instrumentation
• 1 count of kidnapping
• 1 count of lewd molestation
• 2 counts of domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor child
• 1 count of violation of protective order
• 1 count of interference with emergency telephone call
• 1 count of obstructing an officer

He'll be in court Monday.
