Man Sought In Tulsa's 9th Bank Robbery Of The Year

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police need your help to catch a man who held-up an IBC bank Thursday afternoon.

The IBC branch in the 8200 block of East 71st Street was robbed by a lone male at 3:21 p.m.

A teller at the bank told police, the man handed her a threatening note demanding $20's and $100 bills.

The teller complied and the man fled the bank and drove away in a silver Chevrolet Impala.

Police say the man is described as between 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, 180-200 pounds, wearing a black ball cap with a white emblem on the front, a black short sleeve shirt, blue jean shorts and white tennis shoes.

This is the city of Tulsa's 9th bank robbery this year.

Anyone with information on the identity of this man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
