Four Oklahoma Counties Make 'State of the Air' Report

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Four Oklahoma counties have some of the best air in the country.

The American Lung Association's new State of the Air report says Ottawa, Mayes, Caddo and Oklahoma counties reported no days with unhealthy levels of particle pollution from 2006 to 2008.

They were four out of about 100 counties from across the country that qualified.

Particle pollution is blamed for increased chances of lung cancer, asthma attacks and heart disease.
